How do I open a business account?  

Submit your application to join our exclusive BH4B program and gain access to special offers and specialized support. Our team will review your application and contact you with your account login information upon approval.

For design trade customers, please also be prepared to provide proof of valid Trade Organization Membership or design credentials (e.g. ASID, NEWH, IIDA, NCIDQ).

Businesses who are tax-exempt can also attach proof of their tax-exempt status within the application.

What is the difference between a Balsam Hill business account and a Design Trade Program Membership?  

Balsam Hill business accounts and Design Trade members enjoy the same benefits. Designers submitting valid credentials with the business account application will be enrolled in our Design Trade Program and will receive a 15% discount. From time to time, we may offer promotions or send additional communications that are more relevant to a certain subset of members.  

Is there a cost or recurring fee associated with a business account?  

No – business and design trade professionals are encouraged to join BH4B at no additional cost or recurring fee(s).  

Do you offer catalogs or product samples?  

In addition to free, quarterly print catalogs and Tree Books when available, Balsam Hill for Business is pleased to provide one complimentary Branch Sample Kit to professional customers upon request, making it easy to preview our needles and branches before purchasing.

What forms of payment do you accept?  

Balsam Hill for Business’s preferred payment options are by Credit/Debit Card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) or ACH.

If either of the above are not readily accessible for your business, please work with your Customer Care specialist to explore alternative payment options. This may require additional verification steps before your order can be released for shipment.

How do I know if I am tax-exempt?

I am tax-exempt and noticed sales tax on my order. Can I get a refund?  

Please email our Customer Care team at bh4b@balsamhill.com with your exemption certificate attached. Once approved, your Balsam Hill business account will automatically remove sales tax at checkout.

Valid tax-exempt refund requests for orders made within 30 days of purchase will be honored. Tax-exempt refund requests for orders made after this 30-day period are not eligible for a refund.
