Our designers have made our popular Norway Spruce even more realistic! We've updated our True Needle™ branches to add strength and lifelike detail, added even more True Needle branches than ever before, and then carefully crafted the branch structure of the tree to provide its gorgeous silhouette.

The Norway Spruce (Picea abies) was originally introduced to America from Europe for its attractive shape as a Christmas tree. We've carefully mimicked the shape of a cultivated Norway Spruce to provide the quintessential Christmas tree shape while creating a gentle "in and out" branch structure which is perfect for displaying your favorite ornaments. Each of the center stems of our gorgeous True Needle ™ tips are reinforced with steel to provide excellent strength to display your treasured ornaments.

Full of dense True Needle foliage, our Norway Spruce reflects the vibrant color native to this popular tree species. As with all of our Vermont Signature ™ items, we offer matching wreaths and garlands with UL ® approved indoor/outdoor lights to perfectly accent your tree or home for years to come.

These innovative lights look just like regular Christmas mini lights, but are powered by LEDs instead of incandescent bulbs. Shaping your Tree

The first time you assemble and shape your tree will require the most shaping to give the tree its full lush appearance. learn more »

1. With each branch, separate out the individual tips and angle them out and away from the center of the tree.
2.Angle the tips furthest back on the branch and sideways out from the branch to resemble a peacock's fanned tail when shaped.
3.Shape the branches vertically upward as much as possible to give the tree its full appearance. Enjoy your Balsam Hill™ tree!
